In a recent offprint from Classical Philology 102, 2007, from the "Princeton-Stanford Working Papers Classics," Walter Scheidel - one of the world's leading classical scholars - has indeed gone along with most of myself, Beert Verstraete and Arnold Lelis' claims regarding the marriage age when females first "tied the knot" in Ancient Rome.
