- Donald Mader gave me some startling news concerning Timothy d'Arch Smith's Love in Earnest. It turns out that d'arch Smith chanced on The Greek Mirror, a collection of Uranian Verse put together by Nicholson. It was this find which led to the uncovering of more Uranian verse, and which in turn gave d'Arch Smith ample material to write his classic text.
- It was also pointed out by the same scholar that in Denmark the free availability of pornography (including minors) between 1970-1980 did not produce an increase in sex crimes. In fact Kutchinsky's groundbreraking quantitative study showed that it did the exact oppoosite, lending credence to "the safety valve" theory, which propounds that the availability of pornography can actually reduce sexual offences.
