The following PDF documents the restored gravesite of Susan Wells Armstrong, wife of James (Trooper) Armstrong, whi died of cholera in Nashville on May 29, 1833. According to the documentation from the Nashville City Cemetery Association, she was a native of Maryland but lived for a number of days in Nashville, dying there during a visit to her son, Col. Robert Armstrong.
